VizoPlay is published by Ellemsoft, based in Finland. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data the app does and does not collect.

What We Collect

VizoPlay does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. There are no user accounts and no login required. The app runs entirely on your device.

Local Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device, including:

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party. To delete this data, uninstall the app or clear app data through your device settings.

VPN

VizoPlay allows you to import and use your own OpenVPN configuration files. VPN connections are established directly between your device and your VPN server. VizoPlay does not operate any VPN servers, does not route your traffic through our infrastructure, and has no access to your VPN traffic or credentials.

IPTV Content

VizoPlay is a video player only. It does not provide, host, or distribute any media content. All streams are fetched directly from your IPTV provider's servers. We have no knowledge of or access to your viewing activity.

Advertising

The free version of VizoPlay displays a small banner ad. There are no pop-up or interstitial ads. Premium users see no ads at all.

Depending on the configuration, banner ads are served by either Google AdMob or our own custom banner system:

Analytics

VizoPlay uses Firebase Analytics to track anonymous usage events related to advertising (banner impressions and clicks). These events contain no personal data — only a banner identifier and a timestamp. Firebase Analytics may also collect basic device information (device model, OS version) and app usage data. This data is anonymous and aggregated.

VizoPlay uses Firebase Remote Config to deliver app configuration (such as which ad format to display). Remote Config fetches are made once per app launch and may include basic device information for targeting (platform, app version). No personal data is sent.

Crash Reporting

VizoPlay uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash reports. This helps us identify and fix bugs. Crash reports may include device type, operating system version, and stack traces. No personal data or viewing activity is included.

In-App Purchases

Premium purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not collect or store any payment information. Purchase status is stored locally on your device.

Ad Consent (EU/EEA/UK)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before any ad-related data is collected. If you decline, no personalized ads will be shown. The legal basis for ad-related data collection is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).

Children's Privacy

VizoPlay is not directed at children under 13. The app does not collect any personal data from any user. Ads served by AdMob are subject to Google's policies regarding child-directed content.

Do Not Sell or Share

VizoPlay does not sell your personal information. When ads are displayed, AdMob may use device data for ad personalization. You can opt out through your device's privacy settings as described above.
